ORIGIN
The Genesis of a Hybrid Institution
Established in Casablanca ? the beating heart of Moroccan finance and industry ? the ICDSE was conceptualized by an elite cadre of professionals, high-ranking state officials, and leading experts spanning medicine, economics, scientific research, and the media.
The Kingdom’s transition toward a New Development Model created a systemic void ? a “valley of death” between academic research and its commercialization. The ICDSE was explicitly engineered to fill this void.
Our Purpose
To provide the foundational conditions for the economic and scientific takeoff continuously urged by His Majesty King Mohammed VI ? by integrating empirical scientific rigor with the pragmatic imperatives of economic policy.
